Embracing Your Resistors

Hi Everyone. I attended the Learning Forward Annual Conference (formerly NSDC) in Atlanta this week. It was a great conference and I want to thank those that attended my session on the Four Disciplines of school leadership. In this entry I have linked to the content we discussed at the end of the session, on the three types of resistors that generally exist to the vital behaviors that are expected in your school organization. If embracing your resistors is a challenge for you, I would encourage you to use the enclosed worksheet with your leadership team. Resistors exist primarily based on variant fears. By taking the time to know what the fear is based upon, the better chance you may have of influencing the resistor to close the gap on the vital vision action or adult behavior they refuse to move toward.
